As one of the most core application fields of SDF, the power industry has long put forward extremely high requirements for the high-temperature resistance, high-pressure sealing performance and long-term continuous operation stability of valve products. Over the years, SDF has continuously served large-scale thermal power, gas power and nuclear power projects, and its products are widely used in the main steam system of boilers, feedwater systems, circulating water systems, vacuum systems and auxiliary control systems. It has accumulated rich project experience under complex working conditions.
In the first phase of the 5×600MW project of Guangdong Guohua Taishan Power Plant, SDF supplied approximately 2,800 valves from 2004 to 2006, including electric gate valves Z941H, vacuum valves NKZ64H, and instrument valves J21W, with diameters ranging from DN100 to DN500. As thermal power units are in a continuous high-temperature and high-pressure operation state for a long time, the valves not only need reliable sealing performance but also have to maintain stability during frequent opening and closing and long-term operation. SDF's electric gate valves are mainly used in the main steam and feedwater systems, effectively ensuring the stability of steam transmission; vacuum valves are used in the turbine vacuum system, playing a crucial role in the thermal efficiency and operational safety of the unit. After the project was put into operation, the owner gave high praise to the operational stability and after-sales response of SDF's products, further enhancing the brand's market recognition in the large-scale power station sector.
In addition to large domestic power stations, SDF has also participated in multiple overseas energy engineering projects. Among them, the most representative one is the SUMSEL-5 (Sumser) 2×150MW coal-fired power plant project in Sumatra, Indonesia. This project was equipped and exported by Beijing Yutong Pioneer Valve Complete Set Equipment Co., Ltd., and SDF provided products such as electric gate valves, globe valves, check valves, and electric globe valves. The high-temperature and high-humidity environment in Southeast Asia poses high requirements for the anti-corrosion performance and long-term operational stability of valves. The stable operation of SDF's products in overseas projects further validates their adaptability to complex working conditions in the international market.
In the Guangdong Ling'ao Nuclear Power Plant Phase II project of China General Nuclear Power Corporation, SDF provided rubber-lined butterfly valves D941X-16 and ball valves Q45F-16P, etc., which were mainly applied in the circulating water system and auxiliary cooling system. The nuclear power industry has extremely strict requirements for the safety level, sealing reliability and material stability of valves, especially in terms of long-term stable operation and leakage prevention capabilities, which are far higher than those in ordinary industrial fields. SDF rubber-lined butterfly valves, with their excellent corrosion resistance and low-torque opening and closing characteristics, are suitable for controlling large flow media; ball valves meet the requirements of rapid cut-off and high sealing for key pipelines. Being able to enter a national-level nuclear power project also demonstrates the reliability and quality system capabilities of SDF products in high-safety-level working conditions.
In addition, SDF has successively participated in the construction of several large-scale power projects, including Huaneng Shantou Haimen Power Plant, Shenhua Guohua Shouguang Power Plant, Guangdong Huilai Jinghai Power Plant and Ningxia Yinxing Power Plant. It has accumulated mature product application experience in the field of supercritical and ultra-supercritical unit matching. Long-term service in large-scale energy projects has also enabled SDF to gradually establish a brand reputation for being "stable, reliable and responsive".
