The petrochemical industry has always been one of the core industrial sectors that SDF focuses on serving. Due to the fact that the refining, chemical, and oil and gas transportation systems are constantly exposed to high temperatures, high pressures, flammable and explosive, as well as highly corrosive media, the requirements for the sealing performance, pressure resistance, material stability, and long-term operational reliability of valve products are extremely high. Over the years, SDF has continuously provided industrial valve solutions for the petrochemical, refining and chemical plants, and oil and gas transportation systems, and has accumulated rich project experience in high-parameter working conditions.
In the project of Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company, SDF has supplied a total of 478 valves. The products cover a range of diameters from DN50 to DN1800, with the highest pressure rating reaching 42 MPa (600 Lb). The related products include gate valves, flat gate valves, ball valves, stop valves and butterfly valves, which are widely used in refining and chemical pipeline transportation, process control systems, and high-pressure medium systems. In the refining and chemical industry, high-temperature oil and gas and corrosive media have very strict requirements for valve sealing reliability and erosion resistance. Therefore, SDF has carried out targeted optimizations in valve body materials, sealing structures, and pressure-bearing capacity. Large-diameter butterfly valves and ball valves are mainly used in main pipe transportation systems, which can effectively reduce flow resistance and improve transportation efficiency; high-pressure gate valves and stop valves are used at key process cutting positions to ensure the long-term stable operation of the system.
In the project of China Petroleum's Jidong Oilfield Branch, SDF has supplied over 17,000 valves in total, including gate valves, ball valves, globe valves, safety valves, and needle valves. The working pressure in some cases can reach up to 50 MPa. The products are widely used in natural gas transportation, high-pressure injection and production, and instrument control systems. Among them, needle valves are mainly used for high-pressure sampling and precision control systems, while safety valves are responsible for protecting the system pressure. This project not only demonstrates the product stability of SDF under high-pressure conditions, but also reflects its mature large-scale production and project delivery capabilities.
In addition to large-scale domestic petrochemical projects, SDF has gradually entered the fields of offshore oil and gas and international energy engineering. The company has provided products such as check valves, ball valves, and stop valves for related projects of Ocean Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., covering pressure ratings from 150LB to 1500LB. These products are mainly used in offshore oil and gas platforms and offshore transportation systems. Due to the long-term exposure to high salt fog, high humidity, and strong corrosive environments in marine conditions, higher requirements are placed on the corrosion resistance and long-term sealing stability of valves. SDF products have been stably applied to these projects, further demonstrating its technical capabilities in the high-end energy equipment field.
Furthermore, SDF has also participated in international energy-related projects such as "East Sea UniCo", indicating that its products have gradually integrated into the international energy engineering support system and have accumulated certain application experience in the overseas market.
After years of development, SDF has established a complete product system of petrochemical valves covering high temperatures, high pressures, corrosive media and complex working conditions, and has continuously expanded into the fields of large-scale refining and chemical processing, oil and gas transportation, and high-end energy equipment.
