Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Qingpu District, Shanghai, Shanghai Power Plant Valve Factory Co., Ltd. (SDF) is a specialized manufacturer of high-temperature and high-pressure power station valves, designated by China’s Ministry of Machinery Industry and State Power Corporation. Over more than five decades, SDF has evolved into a modern enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, testing, and after-sales service.
Spanning a 73,336 m² state-of-the-art facility, SDF is equipped with world-class machinery—including Olympus optical emission spectrometers, an 1800-ton high-pressure test bench, and a DN4000 CNC vertical lathe—enabling an annual production capacity of 800,000 forged steel valve units. Our product portfolio includes over 2,000 models of gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, control valves, and cryogenic valves, with pressure ratings from 1.6 MPa to 80.0 MPa (Class 150–4500), sizes from DN10 to DN4000, and operating temperatures from -196°C to 1100°C.
